Ingredients: Beancurd pastry (Soybeans and water), Corn starch, light soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, vegetarian seasonings. 

Contain soybean and gluten. May contain seeds and nuts.

Fried Vegan Drumsticks

  • 10pcs VMAS Veg Drumsticks
  • 150g gram (chickpea) flour
  • 175g plain flour
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 1tsp dried thyme
  • 1tsp dried basil
  • 1tsp dried oregano
  • 1tsp ground ginger
  • 1.5tsp celery salt
  • 1.5tsp black pepper powder
  • 1.5tsp white pepper powder
  • 1.5tsp dried mustard powder
  • 1.5tsp paprika
  • 1.5tsp dried sage
  • 1.2tsp brown sugar
  • 100g panko breadcrumbs


  1. Defrost veg drumsticks in room temperature for 30mins or until semi defrosted.
  2. Place gram flour in a bowl. Mix 3/4 cup water until it has a texture similar to beaten egg. In a separate bowl, mix all spices then add panko breadcrumbs. Place plain flour in different bowl.
  3. Dip each veg drumstick in the plain flour, shake off excess, then coat in the gram flour mixture and finally in the panko spice mix.
  4. In a large fry pan, heat oil to 180 degrees celcius. Once oil is hot, drop in the vegan drumsticks. Cook until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain oil on paper towel. Sprinkle with a little salt. Serve warm.
