Lamyong Vegan Soy Fillet

A plant based protein fish that is completely free of animal products. Made mainly with non genetically modified soy beans. The magic of nori gives this product the perfect taste and texture.

Ingredients: Textured soy protein, textured wheat protein, soya bean sheet, seaweed, salt, vegetable oil, permitted vegetarian food flavouring. 

Contain soybean and wheat. May contain traces of nuts and seeds.

Recipe: Vegan Soy Fillet in Soybean Paste

  • 3 slices Lamyong Vegan Soy Fillets
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger or ginger mince
  • 1 tsp soybean paste
  • 1 tsp vegetarian mushroom oyster sauce
  • 1/2 cup water (add more if preferred)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch and 1 tsp water
  • 1/2 cup chopped red capsicums
  • 2-3 stalks fresh coriander (for garnish)
  • chopped red chillies (to serve, optional)


  1. Defrost vegan soy fillet. Heat oil in pan and pan fry 1-2 mins on each side or until golden brown. Drain oil and set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in the same pan. Saute ginger for 30secs. Add all the sauces, sugar and water. Simmer for 1 min. Add capsicum. Thicken sauce with cornstarch-and-water mixture. Turn off heat.
  3. Pour sauce over vegan soy fillet. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve warm with steamed rice.
