These are nice and tasty and look almost exactly like the real shu mai (minus the meat and egg! ;-) ), they take not time to steam, however they do stick together as they have been frozen together, where they should be separated before freezing, therefore if you wanted to deep fry them you may have clumps of 2, 3 or 4 dim sims together! I suggest staggered steaming times if you have clumps so the singles or small groupings don't get too soggy in the process. Overall I love that they have a little piece of faux scallop/prawn in the center and faux caviar on the top! Would still buy again and happy to smash the block of dims sims against my kitchen counter in future.
